Cookie Policy
The cookies and browser-storage entries Coeff IQ uses, and the categories you can control.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
What This Policy Covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Coefficients Co Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) on the Coeff IQ website at coeffiq.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Cookies are small files or storage entries a site saves in your browser to make it work and, with your permission, to understand how it is used.
Current State
As of the date above, this website sets strictly necessary first-party storage, and uses Google Analytics 4 for aggregate usage measurement. The Google Analytics 4 script loads only after you grant Analytics consent in the cookie banner; before that, and if you decline, no analytics cookies are placed and no analytics request is sent. No Marketing provider (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag) is currently enabled; if we enable one in the future, it will load only after you opt in. Fonts are self-hosted and set no cookies.
Cookie Categories
The cookie banner lets you control the following categories:
- Necessary — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choices. These are always on and cannot be switched off.
- Analytics — helps us understand aggregate usage (for example, which pages are visited) so we can improve content and navigation. Off until you opt in.
- Marketing — used to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. Off until you opt in.
Analytics and Marketing Cookies (Only If Enabled and Consented)
Each provider below loads only after you grant the matching consent category, and sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Cookie names and lifetimes are set by the provider and are shown here as typical values.
- Google Analytics 4 (Analytics; provider: Google; enabled) — cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> to measure aggregate site usage. Typical lifetime up to 24 months. We use Google Consent Mode in its Basic form: Google Analytics is not loaded at all, and sends no request of any kind — including no cookieless or anonymized ping — until you grant Analytics consent in the cookie banner. Withdrawing Analytics consent later (via the Privacy Settings link in the footer) reloads the page and clears these cookies, since an already-loaded Google Analytics cannot be reliably stopped from script alone. Google's advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) are permanently denied for all visitors — this site runs no advertising campaigns through Google and uses no remarketing feature.
- Meta Pixel (Marketing; provider: Meta; not currently enabled) — cookies such as _fbp to measure campaign performance. Typical lifetime around 90 days.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (Marketing; provider: LinkedIn; not currently enabled) — cookies such as bcookie, lidc, and UserMatchHistory to measure campaign performance. Typical lifetime up to 12 months.
We do not sell personal information and do not use these technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Managing Your Choices
When you first visit the site, the cookie banner offers two equally weighted buttons — Accept analytics and Reject analytics — plus a smaller Customize link. Accept analytics and Reject analytics control only the Analytics category; Marketing (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag) stays off by default and is never bundled into either button. Customize, or closing the banner without choosing, opens a panel where you can toggle Analytics and Marketing individually; Necessary cannot be turned off.
Your choice is stored in your browser and applied immediately — non-essential scripts do not load based on it. To change or withdraw your choice at any time, use the Privacy Settings link in the footer of every page, which reopens this panel pre-filled with your current choice. Turning Analytics off after it was on reloads the page and clears Google Analytics' own cookies, since an already-running Google Analytics cannot be reliably stopped from script alone; turning off Marketing, or turning either category off before it was ever on, does not reload the page. You can also clear the coefficient-cookie-consent entry in your browser to be asked again, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the site may not work correctly without necessary cookies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and any newly enabled analytics or marketing provider will be added here before it is turned on.
