Dashboards can be shared within a workspace based on role, or made available outside the workspace for cases like client reporting. This article covers both.
Sharing within a workspace
Any dashboard is visible to members whose role includes dashboard viewing access, without any additional sharing step required. Client Admins can further restrict a specific dashboard to a subset of members if it contains information not meant for everyone on that client.
External sharing
A dashboard can be shared externally through a shareable link, which doesn't require the recipient to have a Coefficient account. External links can optionally be password-protected and set to expire after a chosen date, which is common for time-bound client reporting.
Embedding
Dashboards can also be embedded into an external page — commonly used by agencies embedding a client's dashboard into a client portal, or by teams embedding a dashboard into an internal wiki or intranet page. An embedded dashboard reflects the source dashboard's live data, updating whenever that data is synced, rather than a static snapshot.
White-labeling for client-facing sharing
On plans that support it, shared and embedded dashboards can be white-labeled with your own branding instead of default Coefficient styling, which matters most for agencies sharing dashboards directly with clients.
